REQUEST FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES…The Moses Lake School District No. 161

is looking for Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from professional firms experienced in providing long-range planning services. In seeking professional services, the District is requesting proposals from firms with recent experience in Washington State K-12 projects. Minimum long range planning activities may include:

‚ Demographic Study

‚ Educational Analysis

‚ Funding Analysis

‚ Study & Survey

‚ Facilitate Pre-Bond Planning and Community Input

Submittals in response to this Request for Qualifications will be accepted until August 30, 2013, 4:00 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time, at the following address: 920 W. Ivy, Moses Lake, WA 98837.

Statements of Qualification shall address the following: (1) Identification of areas of expertise, (2) experience with school construction, especially in eastern Washington,

(3) ability to perform within a specific time frame (deadline for completion of December 31, 2013), (4) experience working with OSPI, (5) recent references for work of similar nature, (6) other relevant information. Submittals shall be limited to twenty-five (25) pages, which shall include a two (2) page letter of introduction.

The District may shortlist respondents for the purpose of interview and ultimate selection. All proposals shall be developed and submittal at no cost to the District. The District reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in the selection of the firm.
