I saw Matthew Weaver's play, "Bed Ride," at Masquer's Theater in Soap Lake last week and thoroughly enjoyed it!
It was fast-moving and hilariously funny. All actors were exceptional: the pregnant lady was clumsy and slow-moving as a real pregnancy is; N. Nurse handled a stethoscope (and everyone else) as an experienced nurse does; the villain and a brother were very convincing; and Ken Green put in so much effort and brought so many laughs with a pair of crutches that he nearly brought down the roof.
Believe me, I'll be looking forward to Mr. Weaver's next play. Or better yet, put this "Bed Ride" play on again - everyone should have the pleasure of seeing it performed.
