No bomb in threat at GC Airport

MOSES LAKE - A bomb threat the morning of July 11 phoned in to Grant County International Airport resulted in no bomb.

However, the bomb scare caused all kinds of havoc. It led to the evacuation of the terminal and the lockdown of neighboring schools and offices. Airport officials received the call at about 8:45 a.m.

A bomb detection dog and handler from the Grand Coulee Police Department responded. No bombs or suspicious materials were found.

The GC Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.
