Former Othello teacher charged with child molestation
RITZVILLE -- Adams County prosecutors recently charged former Othello teacher Lisa Davis with one count of first degree child molestation.
Davis, 48 and an 11-year old male student allegedly spent a lot of time together and spoke frequently on the phone, according to court documents.
Davis, a former teacher at Scootney Elementary School in Othello, admitted to kissing the student several times times and inappropriately touching him two or three times, according to court documents.
The Othello Police Department completed a month-long investigation in June, recommending two counts of first-degree child molestation charges.
Davis resigned from her position with the Othello School District last month and was summoned to appear in superior court July 29.
