Ducks Unlimited volunteers meet July 30

MOSES LAKE — Ducks Unlimited will meet to discuss ongoing business and an October dinner fundraiser.
Ducks Unlimited conserved more than 63,000 acres in Washington state and spent more than $60 million here, according to a prepared statement from the organization. The program was founded in 1937 and known best for their wetland conservation. More than 600 species of fish, mammals, songbirds and migratory waterfowl use Ducks Unlimited projects.
The meeting is 6 p.m. at the Cascade Valley Fire Station. New volunteers are welcome to help with fundraising and other local projects. For more information, call (509) 765-0254.
