Moses Lake man killed Friday in Othello, suspect sought

OTHELLO — Othello police are searching for an Othello man who allegedly shot and killed a Moses Lake man Friday night.

Roberto S. Galan, 29, was identified as the suspect in the death of George Ramos, 36, according to information made available Monday from the Othello Police Department.

About 10:15 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the Cabana Motel after receiving several reports of a shooting.

Ramos was transported to Othello Community Hospital where he died a short time later, according to reports.

Galan reportedly fled on foot after the shooting and has not been found.
