Worship in the Park planned

QUINCY - Local churches are joining together for a service of celebration and the Word on Sunday, July 28, at 10 a.m. in East Park.
Worship in the Park will include Quincy Nazarene Church, Faith Community, Quincy Free Methodist, Quincy 1st Assembly, First Presbyterian Church, St. Paul Lutheran.
This year, several Hispanic congregations will be adding a bilingual flavor to the service, according to organizer Kaye Baumgartner.
“You are definitely invited to be a part of this gathering, and you should go away filled --- filled with the Spirit, the Word, great music, fellowship, and good food,” she said.
There will be a picnic barbeque after the service. Bring yourselves and a lawn chair if you’d like. There’s usually good shade and a nice breeze.
