Two from Royal City, 1 from Othello hurt on Highway 26

ROYAL CITY - A two-car crash, which the Washington State Patrol said involved alcohol or drugs, left three people injured on Highway 26 east of Royal City on Friday, July 5.

The crash occurred at around 10:45 p.m., the State Patrol said, after an eastbound vehicle veered into the path of a westbound vehicle about 13 miles east of Royal. The eastbound vehicle struck the westbound vehicle on the left front.

According to the WSP, the driver of the eastbound vehicle was Gisela Marcelo-Sedano, 23, of Othello. She was wearing her safety restraint but was injured. She was airlifted to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.

The vehicle Marcelo-Sedano was driving, a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero four-door, was impounded into the Washington State Patrol bullpen at Moses Lake.

The driver of the second vehicle was Deanna L. Hubbard, 46, of Royal City. She was wearing her safety restraint but was injured. She was transported to Samaritan. Her vehicle, a 2001 Nissan Xterra, was impounded to the bullpen at Moses Lake

Also injured was a 17-year-old juvenile passenger from Royal City in the Hubbard car. He did not require transport.
