Moses Lake woman killed in Monday accident

| July 17, 2013 6:00 AM

FARMER - A Moses Lake woman died early Monday when the car she was driving ran off the road and into a ravine about three miles east of Farmer.

Kimberly L. Steele, 43, was driving west on state Route 2 when she left the westbound shoulder, according to a press release by the Washington State Patrol. The car, a 1991 Honda Accord, went into the ravine, the report said.

Troopers don't know when the accident occurred, the report said. They also don't know if intoxicants were involved, according to the report.

Steele was pronounced dead at the scene. The state patrol memo said troopers determined Steele was driving too fast.
