Denise Marie Andersen, 46, longtime Royal City resident, died in her home, with her beloved family with her, Saturday, July 6, 2013 after a valiant battle with ovarian cancer. Denise was born December 11, 1966 in Toppenish, WA to John and Vivian (Spencer) York.

Denise attended, and later employed by, the Royal School District. She loved camping with her family, going to the Sand Dunes, riding the Harley and her dog "Wubby". Participating in the annual American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" walks and her dear children and family were most important to her, however.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents John and Vivian York and one brother Glen Larsen.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" in Denise's memory.
