Crescent Bar men have golf field day

CRESCENT BAR – The Crescent Bar Men's Club had its annual field day on June 26. It consisted of off-course and on-course competition.

The off course events were a nine-hole putting contest on the practice green, a 90-yard closest-to-the-pin on the driving range, a KP out of the sand trap, and a KP from 70 yards over the ninth hole sand trap.

The on-course events were KPs on holes Nos. 3, 5, 12 and 14 by divisions, low team net score for a foursome, low team gross score for a foursome and fewest individual putts by division.

NINE HOLE PUTTING CONTEST: Tom Harris with 18 putts.

90-YARD KP CONTEST: Jerry Hoene at 9 feet.

SAND TRAP KP: John Kiehl at 11 inches.

90-FOOT CHIPPING KP OVER THE TRAP: Don Wilson at 2 inches.

KP HOLE NO. 3 DIVISION I: Russ Larson at 10-11.

KP HOLE NO. 5 DIVISION I: John Kiehl at 14-2.

KP HOLE NO. 12 DIVISION I: Gordon Lennon at 21-0.

KP HOLE NO. 14 DIVISION I: Jerry Riddle at 44-2.

KP HOLE NO. 5 DIVISION II: Wes Prinzen at 21-0.

FEWEST PUTTS DIVISION I: Tie, Al Barnes and Dave Hayes with 30 putts.

FEWEST PUTTS DIVISION II: Jon Bergman with 26 putts.

TEAM LOW GROSS: Bob Wells, Russ Larson, Jerry Hoene, and Jerry Riddle with a total score of 360.

TEAM LOW NET: Al Barnes, John Kiehl, Jon Bergman, and Orlan Wood.
