GEORGE – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office had a busy weekend at the Gorge Amphitheater during the Paradiso concert weekend of June 27-30.

The GCSO handled 62 calls for service, and 23 persons were booked into jail for various charges. Those included possession or delivery of controlled substances, trespassing, obstructing a public servant, assault, and disorderly conduct. ?

“I really want to highlight the great working relationship the Sheriff’s Office has with Live Nation, the concert promoter,” Sheriff Tom Jones said.

Live Nation contracts the Sheriff’s Office to supplement public safety efforts, and sheriff's staff works with Live Nation staff to help ensure concertgoers have a safe and enjoyable experience.
