The water level on Potholes Reservoir is rapidly dropping with "the summer July heat." Surface water temperatures have been reported in the mid to high 70 degree range. That means excellent early morning and late evening TOP WATER Bass fishing and mid-day water sports with our July.

Walleye's have been reported to 11 lb. 8 oz. this week by Goose Island. Crab Creek has also been producing walleye for many fishers trolling using spinners and night crawlers and Rapala Shad Rap's.

Perch are being taken all over Potholes Reservoir. The Lind Coulee arm of Potholes Reservoir has been providing good perch action for boaters. Almost daily fishers continue to collect perch limits at the MarDon Fishing Dock.

Crappie action has improved at the MarDon Fishing Dock. On Saturday, July 6 we have some footage from an underwater camera that show some amazing activity of crappie and perch swimming around under the fishing dock. It's going to be a great few years of fishing ahead!

The non-profit that we run called Central Washington Fish Advisory Committee (cwfac.org) have been given permission to conduct a raffle to buy Triploid Trout to be planted in Corral Lake. The Triploids will be planted this winter. The drawing for prizes will be at the Awards Ceremony for the MarDon Marathon Dock Tournament. Tickets will be $5.00 each and we have a limited number of tickets to sell. We will be announcing the prices for the raffle tickets at a later date and if you have any questions or would like to buy some tickets please call (509) 346-2651.

For a current fishing report please call the MarDon Tackle Shop (509) 346-2651.
