Former aircrewman salutes fallen firefighters

As a former USAF C-130 MAFFS (Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System) Aircrewman in the California 1987 & the 1988 Yellowstone wildfires, my aching heart goes out to the families and friends of the Arizona "Hot Shot" crew that perished in a firestorm ambush in the war against one of the deadliest enemies they face.

To our local First Responders "Be safe, be careful, be aware!"
