“Grown Ups 2” actress, Moses Lake native returns home for premiere

MOSES LAKE — Fans of the “Grown Ups” franchise will have the chance to meet actress Alexys Sanchez, who plays Becky in “Grown Ups” and “Grown Ups 2,” Thursday night.

Sanchez, 9, will be at Fairchild Cinemas to meet fans at 6 p.m. that night, just prior to the first showing of “Grown Ups 2” at 7:15 p.m. The Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce is hosting the autograph and photo session.

Sanchez and her family live in Moses Lake when she is not on location for movies, according to a release from the chamber.

Sanchez’s character Becky, is the daughter of Salma Hayek’s character Roxie and Adam Sandler’s character Lenny.

Chamber Executive Director Debbie Doran-Martinez said the public is encouraged to attend Thursday’s event.

“We invite the community to come out and celebrate with us as Alexys’ second movie premieres in her hometown,” she said.
