INVITATION TO BID

The Port Of Royal Slope will receive sealed bids for the Well No. 2 Well Pump, Reservoir No. 2 & Pump House , at 4975 Rd 13.5 SW, Royal City, WA 99357 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday August 6, 2013.

This project consists of the installation of a deep well pump, booster pump building, 100,000 gallon bolted steel water storage tank, and site improvements. The project also includes installing water chlorination and telemetry systems, electrical improvements and related items all in accordance with the technical specifications, drawings, and contract documents.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond or quality assurance submittals within the time stated in the contract documents, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Port Of Royal Slope. Each Bidder shall warrant that he has not entered into collusion with another bidder or any other person, and does not discriminate in any manner against any person based solely on race, color, sex, or creed.

Plans and specifications may be examined and copies obtained at the office of Port of Royal Slope, 4975 Rd 13.5 SW, Royal City, WA 99357 for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 per set.

Plans and Specifications will also be available on the J-U-B FTP site. Directions to the FTP site are included below. Bids will only be accepted from registered planholders who have purchased a set of Plans and Contract Documents from the Port of Royal Slope and are listed on the Planholders list. All addenda will also be placed on the FTP site.

This project includes EDA Federal funding and is subject to the wage provisions of the Washington State Public Works Laws, Federal Davis-Bacon, and related acts.

The proposed contract is under and subject to Executive Order 11246 of September 24, 1986, and to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Federal Labor Provisions. The EEO requirements, labor provisions, and wage rates are included in the specifications, bid. Each Bidder must supply all of the information required by the bid documents and specifications.

Only properly executed proposals submitted on the forms furnished by the Port Of Royal Slope will be accepted. The Port Of Royal Slope reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, to accept any bid deemed to be responsive in the best interest of the Port Of Royal Slope, and reserves the right to readvertise for new proposals.
