Chairman Lybbert urges Republicans to take advantage of fair booth
MOSES LAKE – Chairman Kimber Lybbert is reminding members of the Grant County Republican Party of the opportunity they will have in August to share the party's message with neighbors.
Lybbert is urging members to volunteer at the party's informational booth at the Grant County Fair in August. According to Lybbert, the effectiveness of the booth in this and coming years will impact the 2014 and 2016 elections.
“I spent a great year teaching at Moses Lake High School, and I want to tell you that the youth of Grant County and their parents really do care about the future of this country,” Lybbert said. “Many of them simply do not know how to make a difference.”
“We have a great message that unfortunately isn't getting communicated,” Lybbert added. “I'm convinced that if more people really understood that message, they'd realize they believe the same thing.”
The central committee meeting for all precinct committee officers will be held at the fair booth on July 25 at 7 p.m. The executive board will have its meeting at 6 p.m.
“Even if you aren't a PCO, please come and help us get ready for the fair,” Lybbert said. “We have heard some great ideas for activities, but along with activities comes the need for volunteers.”
If you can't make the meeting but have an idea or would like to get involved in any way, you may contact Lybbert at kimberlybbert@gmail.com.
