Notice is hereby given that a Building Permit application and SEPA Checklist received by Grant County Planning on 06/26/13 from DAC Properties, (Designated Contact: Shane Christensen, 24100 Road R. SW, Mattawa, WA 99349); and were found to be technically complete on 07/01/13. Grant County expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance for this proposal and the Optional DNS Process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This proposal may include mitigation measures under applicable codes, and the project review process may incorporate or require mitigation measures regardless of whether an EIS is prepared. This may
be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal and the proposed mitigation measures. A copy of the subsequent threshold determination may be obtained upon request. PROJECT: The construction of one approximately 5800 sq. ft. pallet and bin storage building on a 68.7-acre parcel in Mattawa, WA. ZONING: Urban Commercial 2/Agriculture CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with the Grant County Code, International Building Code and International Fire Code. LOCATION: The subject site is located approximately one mile east of Mattawa near the corner of Government Rd. E and Rd R. SW. In the NE quarter of Section 01, Township 14 North, Range 23 East, WM, Grant County, WA. (Parcel #19-1557-000). PUBLIC HEARING: None. All persons, agencies or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.
