NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible in the County Commissioners Meeting Room of the Franklin County Courthouse, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, Washington 99301 to take testimony for and against establishing Franklin County’s proposed Ordinance repealing previously adopted Ordinance #3-2010 and Ordinance #5-2011 and adopting the 2012 International Building Code with Washington State Amendments: the 2012 International Residential Code; the 2012 Existing Building Code; the 2012 Uniform Plumbing Code; the 2012 International Mechanical Code; the 2012 International Fuel Code; the 2012 International Energy Conservation Code; the 2009 Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code; the 2012 International Zoning Code - Chapter 10; the 2012 International Property Maintenance Code; and the 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings.

The full-text of the proposed regulations are available in the Planning & Building Department at the Franklin County Courthouse, 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, Washington 99301, and will be mailed upon request or by calling (509) 545-3521 to answer any questions. All interested persons are invited to attend. Letters from interested persons will be included as part of the record if received prior to 9:00 a.m. on July 17, 2013.
