PROJECT: A Short Plat of approximately 60.34 acres in order to create four (4) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County.

Notice is hereby given that a Preliminary Short Plat application received by Grant County on June 11, 2013 from Port District No. 3 of Grant County (Designated Contact: Jeff Curtis, PO Box 956, Mattawa, WA 99349, 509-932-4479), was found to be technically complete on June 25, 2013. PROJECT: A Short Plat of approximately 60.34 acres in order to create four (4) lots from one existing parcel in the Agriculture zoning district of Grant County. Proposed Lots 1-A, 1-B, and 1-C will each be approximately 5.0 acres in size, and will be used for agricultural uses and/or agricultural-based businesses. Proposed Lot 1-D will be approximately 45.34 acres in size, and will be used for agricultural purposes. None of the proposed lots will have residential development capacity. STUDIES REQUIRED: Cultural Resources Survey performed in March, 2008. LOCATION: The site address of the subject parcel is 22801 Road U SW, Mattawa, WA. It is known as Lot 1 of the Port District No. 3 of Grant County Plat of Industrial Park No. 4, and is located approximately 1.20 miles northwest of Mattawa, WA, and approximately 0.21 miles west of the intersection of State Highway 243 and Road 23 SW, and in the SW quarter of Section 27, Township 15 North, Range 23 East, WM, Grant County, WA (Parcel #03-1400-000). PRESENT ZONING: Agriculture. PUBLIC HEARING: None. CONSISTENCY STATEMENT: This proposal is subject to and shall be consistent with Grant County Code, International Building Code, and International Fire Code. All persons, agencies, or tribes have the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and/or appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
