20 fugitives nabbed during Grant County Marshals' sweep
GRANT COUNTY – Members of the U.S. Marshal’s Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force arrested 20 fugitives wanted for a wide range of serious crimes in a sweep of Grant County last week. ?
The task force, which includes Grant County Sheriff’s deputies and Moses Lake Police officers who are cross-commissioned as Special Deputy U.S. Marshals, spread out early Monday morning, June 18. They worked late each night until Thursday afternoon.
According to Sheriff Tom Jones, there were also other cross-commissioned deputies from the Spokane and Benton County sheriff’s offices. The task force targeted fugitives wanted for high-end crime.

Gilbert L. Williamson Jr., 46, Moses Lake, possession of methamphetamine and other charges. ?
Paul C. Holland, 45, Moses Lake, drug charges. ?
Paul B. Gomez, 53, Moses Lake, drug and drug delivery charges.
Jose J. Luzanilla, Jr., 30, Soap Lake, Dept. of Corrections (DOC) order of arrest for first degree robbery. ?
Christopher Perez, 45, Moses Lake, drug charges. ?
Jack C. Purdy, 27, Moses Lake, DOC order of arrest, drug charges. ?
Jesse Mata, 25, Othello, minor in possession, second degree driving while license suspended. Mata resisted arrest and had to be subdued with a Taser. He received an added charge of resisting arrest.
Noel M. Mata, 21, Othello, DOC order of arrest.
Alejandro M. Mata, 23, Othello, possession of methamphetamine. ?
Thomas L. Garza, 37, Othello, DOC order of arrest. ?
Pablo Mendoza Jr., 21, Othello, DOC order of arrest. Mendoza resisted arrest and had to be subdued with a Taser. He received an added charge of resisting arrest. ?

Kayla J. Ortiz, 23, Moses Lake, theft warrant out of Franklin County, new charge of second degree rendering criminal assistance.
