NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Franklin County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 9:15 am Pacific Standard Time in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located in the Franklin County Courthouse at 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, Washington.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Franklin County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 9:15 am Pacific Standard Time in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located in the Franklin County Courthouse at 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, Washington.

Pursuant to RCW 36.70A.390, the Board of Franklin County Commissioners adopted an Ordinance No. 5-2012 Imposing a Moratorium on Medical Marijuana Collective Gardens on December 19, 2012, restricting the acceptance and processing of any permit application to locate any facilities for the growing, production, processing and/or dispensing of medical marijuana prior to further study and public analysis. Subsequently Franklin County seeks public comment to evaluate impacts and consider appropriate regulations related to medical marijuana collective gardens under Chapter 69.51A RCW, including extension of a moratorium for an additional six-months.
