Scott Harlan Brooks

Scott Harlan Brooks, 52, died January 22, 2013 at his home in Kennewick, WA. He was born on December 26, 1960 in Moses Lake, WA to parents Maxine Park and the late Harlan Brooks. He was married to Kolene Marie Brooks.

Scott served his country in the U.S. Army. He graduated from WSU with a BS in Social Work.

He loved fishing and taking care of his yard. He was loved by many. He kept his sense of humor to the end.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved doing temple work.

Scott is survived by his wife, Kolene Brooks; sons, Chad (Nanette) Serrano and their son, Ethan; Kale, Nicholes, and Sage Brooks; daughter Randi Brooks (Justin); grandson Ezra, and his adoptive parents Heidi and Ryan Cornwall; mother Maxine Park; brothers Gerald Brooks, Brent (Pat) Brooks, Neil (Alice) Brooks; sisters Lisa (Ken) Ballard, Kathy (Bob) Hunter; stepmother Vera Brooks; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Harlan Brooks.

A viewing will be held Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 from 2-4pm at Hillcrest Memorial Center, 9353 W. Clearwater Ave., Kennewick. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Hansen Park Bldg., 8120 W. 4th, Kennewick, WA. Burial will be on Tues.
