Country Sweethearts Benefit, dinner and dance slated

MOSES LAKE - The Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation is gearing up for its 4th Annual Country Sweethearts Benefit Dinner, Dance and Auction.

They will be held on Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the Grant County Fairgrounds 4-H building.

"We would like to invite you and your sweetheart out for a fun-filled night with a purpose," Executive Director Angel Kneedler said. "Please come support your local neighbors who are battling cancer."

Proceeds from the benefit go to the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation to help provide services and programs to cancer patients and their families.

Tables for eight people may be purchased for $450, and individual seats are available for $60 from the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation.

"I am very excited to be a part of this organization," Kneedler said. "We have some great auction items this year that you should not miss out on."

The Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation is a local non-profit dedicated toward making the cancer journey easier for patients and their families by providing help and hope.

It provides services and support to persons with any type of cancer while they are going through treatment.

The CBCF is also committed to educating the community about the importance of screening and prevention of cancer. This includes working with local agencies, schools, and other community groups to increase awareness and understanding.

"The Foundation recognizes the dream of providing tangible aid and emotional support to patients and families dealing with cancer," Kneedler said. "Their hope is to bring the community together to support these individuals and meet their needs."

The office for the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation is located at 1031 W Broadway Avenue Moses Lake, Washington.
