OTHELLO — Police are looking for 40-year-old Julio Cesar Hernandez, believed to have murdered a 30-year-old man in Connell Thursday night.

According to reports, police found the black 1988 Ford Mustang in Othello belonging to Hernandez.  A .45-caliber handgun was also found, believed to be the murder weapon used.  Hernandez may still be in the Othello area, according to Connell Police Chief Michael Kessler.  He is considered armed and dangerous.

On Thursday about 8:30 p.m., Connell police responded to a possible shooting at the Pioneer Park Apartments on Elm Street.  The victim, identified as Saul Ramos Arrazate, was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds. Arrazate was reportedly the boyfriend of Hernandez’s ex-wife. Hernandez was identified as the suspect and police tracked his cellphone to Electric City, according to reports.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 or the Connell Police Department at 509-234-4141.
