Sarah Grace Marchand

Sarah Grace Marchand, 22, lifelong Moses Lake resident, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 in Moses Lake. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories. Please sign the guestbook or leave a note for the family at www.kayserschapel.com. Sarah was born April 22, 1990 in Moses Lake, daughter of Rodney "Rod" and Leah Grace (Milligan) Marchand. She attended Garden Heights Elementary School, Frontier Junior High School, and Moses Lake High School before graduating from Columbia Basin Alternative High School in 2009. Shortly before her graduation she was diagnosed with cancer. She loved dirt bikes, motorcycles, jeeps and four-wheeling at the Sand Dunes. She enjoyed a wonderful trip with her boyfriend a year ago to Lake Havasu, Arizona.

She is survived by her father, Rodney "Rod" Marchand, Moses Lake; her boyfriend of several years, William "Willie" Young, Moses Lake; brother Jacob Marchand, Moses Lake; half sister Chessa (Phil) Tachiki, Bothell; aunts Chris (Mick) Hansen, Moses Lake, Sherae (Jack) Rough, Bothell, and Maureen Skatvold, Bend, Oregon; and cousins Kirk and Erica Skatvold and Scott Rough.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Leah Marchand; Grandparents Phyllis Marchand and C.A. "Marc" Marchand; and Great-Grandmother, Grace Milligan. We will all miss her.
