Kenneth Noraine Vick

Kenneth Noraine Vick, 95, passed January 9, 2013 in Moses Lake, WA. He was born July 26, 1917 in Opheim, Montana to Carl Torvel Vick and Margaret Effie (Baldry) Vick. Kenneth married his love, Phyllis Bernice Rogers in 1940 in Independence, Missouri. After serving in the army in Okinawa, he returned to Knob Noster, MO, where they ran a dairy; then moved to a farm in Holden, Mo in 1959 where he farmed and worked as a pipefitter, and raised their family, Roger, Donald, and Peggy. Kenneth served as pastor of the Church of Christ and president of the County National Farmer's Organization. In 1973 they moved back to Montana, where he worked for NFO and bought a ranch in Phillipsburg, MT with his son Don. Kenneth and Phyllis retired to Thompson Falls, MT, living there for 20 years. They moved to Hamilton, MT where Phyllis passed away after 65 years of marriage. Kenneth moved to Warden, WA with his daughter and family. His loves were: God, family, country, work, and music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Melvin, Vivian (Isakson), Mervin, Gladys (Sather/Anderson), Adrain, and grandson Roger Phillip. He will be missed by one sister, Dorothy (Vick) Graham, Holden, MO, Roger and Juanita Vick Perry OK, Don and Jackie Vick Stevensville, MT, Lionel and Peggy (Vick) Bates, Warden, WA, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be January 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Lutheran Church in Opheim, MT.
