| January 12, 2013 5:00 AM

QUINCY - The driver and three passengers were injured in a one-car roll-over eight miles east of Wenatchee on Highway 28 on the evening of Dec. 29.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred at around 6:45 p.m. when Roberto Barajas Estrada, 44, of Quincy tried to pass another vehicle in the 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe he was driving. The Tahoe went out of control and rolled off the left side of the highway, coming to rest in a ditch.

According to the WSP, Barajas Estrada was driving too fast for the conditions. Neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor, the WSP said, and Barajas Estrada was wearing his seatbelt.

Barajas Estrada sustained injuries that required ambulance transport to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Three passengers, all from Quincy, were also hurt and were taken to CWH by ambulance. They were Ester Barajas, 43; Roberto Barajas, 17; and Genecis Barajas, 19. They were all using their seatbelts.

A fourth passenger, Pamela Barajas, 10, of Quincy was not injured. She was wearing her seatbelt.
