Office closing, concealed weapons on sheriff's mind

EPHRATA - The Grant County Sheriff's Office in Ephrata will be closed on Friday, Jan. 11, for an all-staff meeting and training.
The closure will affect the issuing of concealed weapons permits for that day.
Arrangements have been made to handle all calls for service in the county. For emergency calls, please call 911. To report a crime, call MACC dispatch at 762-1160.
The sheriff's office also reminds citizens that applications for concealed pistol licenses are processed at only the following times:
Mondays and Tuesdays, 1-3 p.m., or Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
To help speed the process, applicants may download and complete the CPL application form before coming to the sheriff's office.
