Mary A. Thomas

Mary A. Thomas, 83, longtime Moses Lake resident, died February 9, 2013 in Moses Lake, WA. She was born February 24, 1929 in Kennett, Missouri to William and Georgia Lee (Hunt) McCormick.

Mary earned an Associate of Arts & Science degree from Big Bend Community College. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, gardening, reading, playing bingo and going to the casinos. She loved music and being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her children Wanda Mae and Ronald Fahrendholz, of Stewartville, Minnesota, Marcia L. Huntwork, Debra L. and Mike Johnson of Moses Lake, WA and Donald E. Huntwork of Ephrata, WA; 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and one more on the way!

She was preceded in death by husband Lester E. Huntwork in 1991 and daughter Carol Thomas in 1999.

Mary will be sorely missed by her dear family and friends. Per her request, no formal services will be held.
