Scholarship deadline on horizon for high school students

ROYAL CITY - The Columbia Basin Foundation is reminding Royal High School applicants that the 2013 scholarship season deadline is Thursday, Feb. 28, at 5 p.m.
All applications must be received in the foundation office by that time/date, not postmarked by that date.
Royal High School students are encouraged to review the scholarships on Foundation's webpage at www.columbiabasinfoundation.org under "Scholarships/Regional" and "Scholarships/North Central Washington" to ascertain if they meet the qualifications for particular scholarships.
Any individual, family, business owner, or organization can create an endowed scholarship to benefit Royal High School students to assist them in reaching their academic goals. All donations to a scholarship fund are tax deductible.
