Royal grid duo set for all-star game

ROYAL CITY - Two members of last fall's highly successful Royal High football team have been selected to play in the East-West All-State Football Game in June.

There are two East-West games. The combined 3A-4A game will be played Moses Lake. The 2A-1A-2B-1B game will be played at Yakima's East Valley High School.

The East squad of the latter contest will include tight end-linebacker Brady Dixon of the Knights. Alex Myrick, who led the Knights to the state title game, will be one of the quarterbacks.

Named as alternates to the East squad from Royal were Kent Christensen, Reed Lefler and Christian Guerrero. Tim Fisk of Chewelah will be the head coach.
