Fugitives from Yakima, Soap Lake arrested Wednesday

GRANT COUNTY - Two fugitives were arrested Wednesday morning after a U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force tracked them down in a search near Soap Lake.

The Task Force, in cooperation with the Grant County Sheriff's Office, Moses Lake Police Department and local Task Force officers, arrested Ronald L. Bickle, 51, of Soap Lake Wednesday morning during a search warrant at 20434 County Road B.5-Northeast, according to Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones.

Bickle was not inside the home, but was found on the property hiding under an old couch, according to the report released Thursday. Bickle was wanted for escape from community custody on a probation violation.

Later, the Task Force found and arrested Kenneth Krebs, Jr., 30, of Yakima hiding in a motor home at 9841 Maple Dr. NE. According to Jones, Krebs was wearing a long wig and a baseball cap to conceal his identity.

Officers were able to recognize him and he was taken into custody without incident on an outstanding state Department of Corrections warrant.

"This is another great example of how our participation in the U.S. Marshal's Task Force has resulted in wanted felons being captured," Jones said. "These types of operations will happen often and we will continue to find and arrest those who try to hide from justice."

Both suspects are booked in the Grant County Jail.
