EPHRATA – Officers from the Grant County Republican Party presented a United States flag to Time Out Pizza owner Lloyd Burleson for his generosity to the party.

Grant County Republican Party officers met with Burleson during their central committee meeting on Jan. 31. As a thank you for providing meeting space and hospitality, current GCRP Chairwoman, Kimber Lybbert, outgoing GCRP Chairwoman, Dani Bolyard, and current GCRP Executive Board Member, Phil Anderson presented Burleson with a U.S. Flag.

The flag was previously flown over the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C. at the request of 4th District Congressman Doc Hastings, R-Pasco.

During the meeting, former GCRP chairwoman Dani Bolyard noted plans to bring the GCRP up to speed in technology. There will be changes to the website coming in the next few weeks and more social media involvement.

“I'm excited to see what this new county leadership is going to do to take the Grant County Republicans to a new level,” she said.
