Davis High School in l945. She worked very hard on the family farm while her brothers were away serving in the armed forces. She was also employed at the Clearfield Lumber Company as the office manager.

They later moved to Othello and in 1960 relocated to the farm in Basin City where she continued to live after Harry's death in 1978. In 2009 she moved to Coventry House in Othello where she made a second family with the residents and staff who provided her loving care until her death.
Michi was a wonderful mother to Scott, Leslie, and Michael supporting them in everything they did, never missing an activity they were involved in as children or as adults. She adored her grandsons Davy and Dustin and looked forward to their summer visits since they were babies. Michi was a perfectionist with her sewing, cooking, knitting, crocheting and gardening. She enjoyed casino trips with family and friends and in later years stood in long lines to have the latest Beanie Babies.
