Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids for Exciter and Governor Replacement at Grand Coulee Project Hydroelectric Authority’s (GCPHA) Main Canal and Summer Falls power plants.

GRAND COULEE PROJECT HYDROELECTRIC AUTHORITY

Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids for Exciter and Governor Replacement at Grand Coulee Project Hydroelectric Authority’s (GCPHA) Main Canal and Summer Falls power plants. The Work covers turnkey installation of governors and exciters for one unit at Main Canal and two units at Summer Falls.

Bids shall be on a lump sum basis in U.S. dollars.

A Notice of Award will be issued on or about April 16, 2013. Work to be performed November 1, 2013 through March 15, 2014.

The GCPHA will receive sealed bids until 4:00 PM local time on March 19, 2013 at the GCPHA office, Room 305, located at 32 ‘C’ Street NW, Ephrata, Washington 98823. Bids will then and there be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time of announced opening will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.

A mandatory site visit will begin at the Main Canal Project, Coulee City, Washington on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 1:00PM.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in certified or cashier’s check or bid bond on GCPHA form and in an amount equal to at least 5% of the amount of such bid.

GCPHA reserves the right to waive any irregularities as informalities and to reject any and all bids.
