MOSES LAKE - An Othello man, 36, faces charges after delivering cocaine to an undercover drug officer.

Erphen Sindhu Khan was arrested Monday by the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team in the parking lot of The Home Depot in Moses Lake, according to a statement from the Grant County Sheriff's Office. The arrest is a result of a six-month undercover investigation conducted by Grant County's Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET). Khan faces charges of four counts of delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine) and possession of cocaine with intent to deliver. The Moses Lake and Othello police departments also assisted with the operation.

"The diligence of the INET detectives resulted in the cocaine bust," Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones said. "This case serves as an example that INET and other partnering agencies are a strong force targeting those who deal in illegal drugs."

According to Jones, search warrants were later served on Khan's vehicle and residence located in Othello. Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found by law enforcement.

INET is composed of officers and deputies from the Grant County Sheriff's Office, Quincy Police Department, Moses Lake Police Department and the State Patrol.
