| February 10, 2013 5:00 AM

EPHRATA - The Grant County Historical Society will have its monthly board meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m.

The meeting will take place at the Ephrata American Legion at 276 eighth Ave. NW in Ephrata. Lunch will be served following the meeting. The cost will be $5.

The luncheon guest speaker will be Ann Nichols of Coulee City. Her topic will be One Story at a Time. She has interviewed numerous Grant County residents with “lots of history” and recorded it on CD.

“History begins one story at a time,” she says.

After her presentation, Nichols will make available her book “How to record a life,” which is what she does in retirement.

The Society's Rita Mayrant asks you to call the Legion at 754-2761 if you plan to have lunch. All members and guests are welcome.

If you have questions, call Rita Mayrant at 750-4555
