Parent meeting set on HIV curriculum

| February 7, 2013 5:00 AM

ROYAL CITY - The Royal School District will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. in the High School Library to allow parents an opportunity to preview the HIV/AIDS materials that will be presented to all students in grades 5-12.

All student instructional materials will be available for parent inspection. This will enable parents and students to have some meaningful family discussions before and after the classroom presentations.

Following a preview of the materials, parents who wish to have their child excused from participation in the HIV/Aids prevention program may sign a release form.
