NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Franklin County Planning and Building Department, determined to be the Lead Agency pursuant to the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) of 1971, as amended, and Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 197-11, has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) concerning the following proposed project:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Franklin County Planning and Building Department, determined to be the Lead Agency pursuant to the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) of 1971, as amended, and Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 197-11, has issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) concerning the following proposed project:

Case file: SEPA 2013-06

Applicant: Storage Systems Northwest, Inc.

Representing - Allied Potato Northwest, Inc.

900 Chemical Drive

Kennewick, WA 99336

Project/Location:

The project consists of the construction of one

(1) potato storage facility that is approximately

31,800 + square feet in size (150’ x 200’ and

40’ x 45’) for Allied Potato Northwest, Inc. This

project is located within the General Industrial

(I-2) Zoning District off of Glade North Road on

a 14.22 acre site, just north of the City of Pasco.

Said property is located in Section 25, Township

10 North, Range 29 East, W.M., Franklin County,

Washington - Parcel Number 124-250-193.

Copies of the environmental documents, mitigation measures, building plans/site plans, and other materials pertinent to the proposed project are available for review in the Franklin County Planning and Building Department at 1016 North 4th Avenue, Pasco, WA 99301. Those wishing to have copies of said documents mailed to them will be charged a fee covering the costs of reproduction and mailing.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that in accordance with the State Environmental Policy Act and WAC 197-11-340, the MDNS, building plans/site plans, the Environmental Checklist, and other materials pertinent to the proposed project has been sent to agencies with jurisdiction, the Washington State Department of Ecology, the Benton-Franklin Council of Governments, and others having an interest in the proposal.

The MDNS was issued on December 20, 2013 by the Franklin County Planning and Building Department. Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m., Thursday January 9, 2014 (14 days from publication) at which time the MDNS will become final.
