| December 26, 2013 5:00 AM

QUINCY - A George man was sent to the hospital after he rolled his pickup on state Route 282 near Quincy Sunday night.

Rogelio Rodriguez, 47, was heading north on SR 281 about 10:45 p.m. when he lost control of his 1985 Nissan pickup truck, driving off the road to the right, causing the vehicle to roll. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels off the road, according to the State Patrol.

Rodriguez was transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for undisclosed injuries. He was reportedly wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The State Patrol determined Rodriguez was driving too fast for the icy conditions.
