3 teens arrested for vehicle prowls at Walmart

MOSES LAKE - Three male teens were allegedly caught attempting to break into several vehicles in the Moses Lake Walmart parking lot early Monday morning.

About 5:40 a.m., Moses Lake police were dispatched to the North Stratford Drive Walmart after employees noticed three males, two ages 16 and one 17, in the parking lot prowling vehicles, according to police reports.

The three suspects were contacted by police and admitted to entering two vehicles and attempting to break into nine other vehicles. Four dollars was reportedly taken from one of the vehicles.

The three suspects, from the Othello, Mattawa and Beverly areas, were booked into Grant County Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of second-degree vehicle prowl, attempted vehicle prowl and third-degree theft.
