The woman pictured allegedly ran off with about $1,000 in clothing from a Moses Lake business last Monday.

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake police are asking for your help with identifying two people who walked out of a downtown business with at least $1,000 worth of kids' clothing.

At about 5:30 p.m. Monday, a male and female entered Bella Boo & Livi Lou's children's clothing store on West Third Avenue. The two spent about 20 minutes inside browsing before the male suspect left out the side door while the woman continued to look around, according to police reports.

The man reportedly mentioned something about his phone charger before heading outside.

About 10 minutes later, the man pulled up to the front of the store in an unknown vehicle when the woman ran out the door with an "armful of clothing", according to police reports.

An employee inside the store at the time of the theft said the suspects had never shopped at the business in the past and "acted nice" prior to the theft. The employee said the female suspect had approached the counter as if she was going to buy the clothing before bolting out the front door and getting in the vehicle.

Employees were able to pull video and photos from four surveillance cameras inside the store.

Police Capt. Dave Sands said officers have not yet been able to identify the two suspects.

Anyone with information on the theft or the identity of the suspects should contact the Moses Lake Police Department at 509-764-3887.
