Red Rock's clothing and food drive delivers big

ROYAL CITY - Over the last month, beginning with Red Ribbon week (drug prevention and education) in October and finishing with a final delivery of donations, Red Rock Elementary has been having a canned food drive.
Counselor Nicole Schwartz and Marla Latimer delivered a large load of canned and boxed food items on Nov. 19. On Nov. 26, Assistant Principal Linda Achondo and Schwartz delivered a large bag of donated coats along with two more boxes of food.
Shortly thereafter, Schwartz delivered the final box of donated items to the Royal City Food Bank. All donated items were collected by the students.
