Lynn Edward Tyler

Lynn Edward Tyler's battle with lung cancer ended on November 22, 2013, in Moses Lake, Washington. He was 56 years old.

Lynn was born in Moses Lake to O.D. and Conchita Tyler. He was the 6th of 9 children. Lynn and his family lived a number of years in the Philippines and then moved back to Moses Lake where he graduated from Moses Lake High School and participated in track and basketball. He then attended Western Washington University to pursue an Industrial Engineering and Computer Science degree. He attended the University of Washington to further pursue his degree and was a member of the National Society of Black Engineers. He lived in Seattle for many years before returning to Moses Lake. Lynn was artistically talented and had a passion for music, photography and fencing. He also played the acoustic guitar. His gentle disposition made him easily approachable by strangers and acquaintances alike.

He was preceded in death by his father, O.D. Tyler.

The family wished to express sincere thanks for the compassionate care Lynn received from all the caregivers who made his days comfortable as possible.
