SOAP LAKE — Soap Lake police are looking for the public’s help to identify a man who allegedly broke into a local motel.

About two weeks ago, an unknown male reportedly broke into an Soap Lake hotel, which is closed for the winter season. After breaking in, the suspect then stayed for about a day and a half before leaving, according to reports.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video but officers have not able to identify the man. They believe he is likely from out of town.

No other details from the break-on are available at this time.

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect are asked to contact the Soap Lake Police Department at 509-246-1122.
