Reader refutes Covey's election ad

In last week's Daily Herald Mr. Covey had an election ad that stated, and I quote: "The herbicide treatment has eliminated the algae bloom."

I fish Moses Lake on an average of 5 days a week. The algae on the lake this year was about the same as it has been in the past 50 years that I have been fishing the lake. Connelly Park boat launch was so bad late this summer that I had to wash off my boat and trailer most of the time when I got home from fishing.
