Everett woman killed in Coulee City crash

COULEE CITY - An Everett woman was killed just before noon Friday in a head on crash on Highway 2, about one mile west of Coulee City.

Holly M. Kesler, 49, was heading west on Highway 2 in a 2007 Mazda when the driver of a 2005 Dodge Ram pick-up heading east crossed the center line.

Kesler's vehicle was struck head-on, according to the State Patrol.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pick-up, Michelle M. Wiley-Bunting, 47, of Spokane, was transported to Coulee Community Hospital in Grand Coulee for undisclosed injuries. Her passenger, Rene L. Wiley, 48, of Deer Park, was also injured and transported to Coulee Community Hospital.

The State Patrol said the cause of the collision was driving too fast for conditions. The crash is still under investigation.
