Del Red owners host free Thanksgiving dinner
Pies and other side dishes accompanied a Thanksgiving meal of turkey and ham provided by Del Red owners Jill and John Larsen Thursday.
SOAP LAKE - Two turkeys and a ham were passed around the Del Red Pub in Soap Lake by owners Jill and John Larsen. This is the second year the business offered a free meal on Thanksgiving Day.
Many attendees brought a side dish or dessert to share, as well.
Jill Larsen said she is happy to host for the community. Last year, around 80 patrons throughout the day stopped in for food and friends. More were expected this year.
Customer Keith Fisher said he has been living in Soap Lake for 21 years and has been a patron of the Del Red for 20 years. This was the first time for him, his wife Misty, and family, and friend Nancy Fisher and John Howard, attending the dinner.
