Walter A. Garren

Another hero, Walter A. Garren, 63, a retired Air Force Master Sergeant passed away August 21, 2013 after heroically battling four bouts of cancer. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, August 27th and from 8:30 to 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 28th at Kayser's Chapel of Memories. Services with full Military Honors will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 28th at Kayser's Chapel. A reception will follow at the Catholic Church Fatima Center, 200 N. Dale Road, Moses Lake. Walter was born on May 10, 1950 in Liberty, New York, son of Clyde and Margaret Garren. He was a proud member of the military and served honorably for 20 years. Walter was a strong, loyal and loving husband and father for over 40 years. He was the embodiment of what we all strive to be and he will be sorely missed.

Walter is survived by his wife, Cathy garden; son, Allen Garren; daughter, Connie Wilz; father, Clyde H. Garren; four siblings, John Garren, Glenda Arbis, Debbie Garren, and Diana Garren Kemp; grandchildren, Joshua and Ryan Morgan; numbers nieces and nephews.
